    Lon Kruger's OU men's basketball team faces one of its toughest home tests of the season when it hosts fourth-ranked Missouri on Monday at 6 p.m. CT. The Tigers are 21-2 on the season and tied for first place in the Big 12 at 8-2.

    The 10th-ranked Oklahoma wrestling team dropped its third dual of the year, this time at No. 13 Missouri, 25-12, on Saturday at the Hearnes Center. Oklahoma (12-3, 3-2) collected three wins on the day as the Tigers (12-2, 3-1) avenged their 19-18 loss in Norman earlier this season and snapped a three match losing skid to the Sooners.
  • W. Gymnastics. OU Dominates No. 2 Arkansas on the Road

    The fifth-ranked Oklahoma women's gymnastics team upset No. 2 Arkansas on the road Sunday, 197.425-196.175, at Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville, Ark. Oklahoma (10-2) posted its second-best score of the season in the win with a 197.425. Both of OU's scores of 197 or higher have come on the road this season, the Sooners are the only team in the NCAA this year to break 197 on the road.
  • W. Basketball. Sooners Turn Attention to No. 1 Baylor

    Oklahoma visits No. 1 Baylor in Waco, Texas, on Feb. 6 for the first of two straight appearances on ESPN2's Big Monday. Pam Ward and Rebecca Lobo will call the action from the Ferrell Center. The Sooner Sports Network radio broadcast with Brian Brinkley airs on KOKC 1520 AM and KREF 1400 AM in Oklahoma City and Norman.

    Former University of Oklahoma gymnast Steven Legendre continued to make a name for himself in his pursuit of a spot on the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team by taking second place and claiming two event titles at the 2012 Winter Cup in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Legendre totaled a two-day all-around score of 175.200, finishing behind John Orozco's 180.700.
  • W. Tennis. Sooners Lose on the Road, 5-2

    The 31st-ranked Oklahoma women's tennis team lost to No. 20 Tulsa, 5-2, on the road Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on TU's campus. "I was actually very pleased with our performance tonight," OU head coach David Mullins said. "Our doubles was better despite some one-sided scores and we gave ourselves a chance in five out of the six singles matches." Oklahoma (4-2) lost just its second doubles point of the season to the Hurricane to give TU a 1-0 lead heading into singles.

  • Track. Sooners Wrap Up Weekend in NYC

    The University of Oklahoma track and field teams wrapped up competition at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational on Saturday. Daniel Mazar took 11th in the men's 800-meter championship race, finishing in one minute, 53.13 seconds. Evan Pierson competed in the men's 200-meter championship preliminaries, crossing the line in 22.51.
